The postcards below were found inbetween the walls of a tenement on 35th Street
in 1997. Amazingly, they are legible and in a fairly good condition.
Caption:
When women were given the right to vote, the Democratic Club was
actively reaching out to their members and county committee members
to enroll all the women
so they could vote in elections. Below is the front and back of card
sent to members.
